Don't bother building the 1.6. At the end of the day you have .... a built 1.6. 1.8 is much better, 1.8 VVT motor is muchmuch better.

Plus many more 1.8/1.8vvt motors were produced.

I know the 1.6 isn't the best platform....but I have two 1.6 motors...so I'll just boost them until they die, and then get a new manifold and a few other misc parts and do the 1.8 swap

Southern Minnesota unfortunately lol. Yes that will work! As I'm new to this whole turbo thing, are there specifics other than shaft play that I should ask about?
