Depends on which one. No journal bearing T25 will push more than about 15psi, like if it's off a DSM or Nissan stock application. I think a GT2554r will already bring negative returns at 17psi, and a GT2560 will be at the limit if not slightly over it. When you're talking about those levels, most guys are running GT28's or even GT30's.
However, your posts indicating the desire for 17-20psi means you simply haven't done enough homework. Your stock block won't last til the end of the summer if you put 20psi through it... maybe won't last the tuning session. And there's no way you're running more than about 15psi unless you've got something in the way of EMS. Your bandaid setup is OK, but the fuel curve of the stock ECU limits you. As your AF's are indeed a "curve", you run rich on tip-in, then go lean through the midrange, then go REALLY RICH up top. To stay in the power up top, you'll run dangerously lean midrange... it's a losing proposition at the point where more boost means you run leaner and leaner in the midrange and get ZERO extra power up top cause the charge is so hot... then you knock... then you go boom.
My strong advice is to CHOOSE A POWER GOAL!!! How much power do you want to make? Then your current setup, assuming it's quality components (you didn't list any brand names), should be good for about 8psi unless you've got an upgraded fuel pump... if upgraded, you should be set for about 12psi. Did you mean to write "Bipes ACU"... if so, set base timing to 14* and start pulling 8* total at the lowest RPM and max pull for temp. That plus 93octane should put you at 190-200whp.
Your next upgrade is for Megasquirt and 460's/550's. Sell your MSD boost controller cause MS does EBC onboard. With your ACT clutch, you're set for as much power as you can squeeze from your T25, depending on the model, shoot for 15psi and about 240whp.
OH, and I hope for the time-being you're running your BOV recirculated. Honestly though, this board has all the advice you'll ever need.
My second recommendation is DON'T LISTEN TO YOUR HONDA BUDDIES ABOUT TURBO'ING YOUR MIATA!!! Things work differently in our world and some things that are Holy Grail to Honda types simply don't translate.
