Welcome to the site. I hope you enjoy yourself here.

Just a little advice, you should make sure you use grammar and punctuation to the best of your ability. People are more likely to take you seriously, and it is easier for us to understand you.

Tell us a little more about this project. I am not sure I recall Mr. Covington on the site.

Probably because that's not English. It reads like something poorly translated from Google translate.

I don't know your uncle, but if this is how you are going to type when you document his build that is one hell of an insult to him. You must really hate that dude OP.

I mean, is English your first language?

If it's not, you should be up front about these things. It's a pretty legitimate excuse.

If you're American, you have no excuse.

Sorry, guys, my nephew posted here before I got a chance to warn him about you. We've been through the noob stickies now, and he'll do much better.

I'm uncle Jon and I'm an old fart (70). I had heart surgery about 4 years ago and started a bucket list while I was still in the hospital. And a Miata was right there at the top. Three weeks later, I bought a 97. And since I'm incapable of leaving stock alone, I've been at it ever since. First thing was to learn about my car, and I've been reading forums ever since. I did the basic maintenance and fluid changes and then started shopping. I loved the Boss Frog twin loop with padding and covers and it wasn't too hard to install. Next was FM 2.5 suspension and sway bars with adjustable links and it helped the handling so much, I had to add 6ULs and 205 Star Specs. Then I got a 99 head and manifold, but the oil rings stuck on me, and when I put it back together, it used oil. So I was going to do a build, but came across an almost new 99 built engine from a totaled car.I bought it so right that I could move up my schedule and now it's TURBO TIME! I got the FM II with 3" exhaust, and luckily, I had my nephew, James, to do most of the work. He's 24 and a great little mechanic. We've done some mods to the standard package and we're almost to start up time. If you look in the photo gallery, he's started posting some of the pictures he's been taking. And Turbomiata has been invaluable to us. Many thanks, people.

That makes a whole lot more sense than the original post.

I'm not really sure what to think about this thread.

First off, mad props for the e e cummings introductory prose. Masterful use of language. Which language, I do not know.

I guess where it goes off the rails for me is the fact that you're referencing a car owned by a cat with 10 posts in a year; like many others here I have no idea who/what you're talking about. Links? Pics? Punctuation marks?

Now properly scolded, welcome to MT. Do you have a cat? We really like cats here, kittens in particular. Are you perhaps a Brony? There are definitely two camps here on the Brony thing, but with a population largely comprised of hairdressers and drag queens it's to be expected.

Very well guys, I had finished my work for the day. I was just relaxing ,and having a couple of drinks. So i was a little PUI. When I made my first post. My Basis is hondas ,and dirt track cars as well as motorcycles. I have been tinkering with anything, and everything I could make work better or make faster. Since long before I could drive. Yes I am american just somewhat careless at times I would say as far as spelling. I am also 25 still a young one, but I have picked up a lot of knowledge so far.

Good deal, Jay and Jon. I'm going to balance out the initial negative props with a positive one for (A) taking the scolding like a man and (B) introducing me to the term - if not necessarily the concept of - posting under the influence.

To respond to your scathing remarks. Yes, I am American [could've surprised me] but I am somewhat careless at times with spelling [and the English language as a whole].

Though I am only 25, I have acquired a lot of knowledge thus far but hope to learn more with your help!
Fixed that for ya

And you're an embarrassment to the public school system (gonna assume you didn't go to college).
