Default Long time MT.net lurker, new to actually posting

I've had a 94 Miata for about a year and I'm a regular poster at ClubRoadster.net and only done exterior stuff thus far. Forced induction has always been in the back of my mind as this is my DD with my recent purchase of MSPNP I've decided to go for it.

The plan is get MS going and learn as much as I can while I gather the rest of the turbo parts. I'm currently chasing a BEGI manifold and downpipe and reading about turbos. I'm probably gonna go with the typical T25. I'm trying to find a SR20 take off but I'm keeping my options open. I've got a notepad stacked full of info/fitting sizes/garbage and I'm trying to learn as much as I can before I dive in.

Here's the kicker: I'd like to keep this as my DD. I'm not looking for tons of power, 170-200 would be more than enough so I'm gonna try my best to make this happen. Any info or criticism or help is appreciated!

here's the most recent picture, I've since added TSIs but we all know what that looks like.

Fix your wheels.

Welcome! Keep an eye on the classifieds for used parts.

Currently I like my wheels so they'll stay for now. Once I finish the turbo part I'll look into more rubber.

Thanks guys! Almost verything I've bought have come from the classifieds.

So far I've got MSPNP the begi manifold and downpipe I was able to buy, I bought 2 t25s that need rebuilding from a friend (one for spare parts if I need it) so I still need all the lines, wideband, and misc other parts. I'm hoping to do the install in January while my fiancée is gone for a week. I figure I can post up in the garage and get it done.

Figures after I buy most of the turbo stuff this would happen, but Miata is likely totalled. Sitting at a red light and a 70 y/o hit me doing 40-50, rear diff exploded and couldn't drive it under its power. Hit my head real hard but thankfully I'm all right

Sorry to hear it. Well, always look on the bright side of life.

You're not dead and 70 year olds tend to have insurance. Also, you hadn't put all the work into the turbo setup on this car.

My head NAILED my bar, I've had a headache ever since. I will be wrapping the next bar, I understand it now. I am waiting to hear back from insurance, but I'm already working on the next Miata. Hopefully I'll get enough to cover it.

as for pics, there's a lot more damage that can't be seen

Main thing is that you're okay. Sorry to hear about the project build being cut short, I had a similar thing happen to my 240sx when I was piecing together my turbo kit. Best of luck!
