You'd probably be fine if you park in a garage or on a main street. I was on a less busy side street, so probably more vulnerable to theft. Although an old *** Miata doesn't seem like a very good target for a thief.
Whatever. I'm pissed, but life goes on. I'm looking at another Miata tomorrow. I don't even have the patience to find out if the cops find my car.

Nope, it had the BBS wheels on with BFGoodrich g-Force tires.
Thanks for helping spread the word. I figure having more eyes out on the roads (and internet) is the only chance I have at recovering it.

Okay everybody. The police found my car yesterday and I was able to recover it. To my pleasant surprise, there is no damage and it looks like it was hardly even driven.
So, let the building continue. Here's some pretty coilovers:

Got the suspension installed before heading to Idaho for Thanksgiving. Car is now sitting at a much more respectable ride height, although I may raise it back up a little bit. 12f/12.5r scrapes my shitty ebay exhaust on stuff a little more than I'd like.

Installed. Shiny goodness.

The nut on the lower control arm was in a rather alarming position when I installed the rear...

How she sits.

So far I'm very fond of it. Handles very nice. It's also nice to be able to crank down the damping for long trips. I also don't have any experience with decent suspension in a Miata so I don't really have anything to compare it to.
Well I tried rolling my fenders and totally boogered up the inside paint on the first one (on the lip, not visible). Now I'm thinking of taking it somewhere to have the rest done, but it seems like it shouldn't be that hard.
No, I wasn't using the proper tool, I was trying to use a bat. But I did use a heat gun and that didn't seem to help the paint from cracking.

Bat is why you struggled. You need to do do it very gradually.
That being said. I've never done the fronts without cracking the paint. Rears are easier.

Got a proper fender roller and did my fenders. It didn't come with the handle for tightening, so the seller is going to send another one. So then I'll have two. Anybody need a fender roller?
Also got these pretty things from eddy1128:

which means I guess I'm going to build an engine.
