You'd be better off to get some good coils AND shocks.

There's an fm2 manifold for sale on here for less than the money you just got back.

LOL @ $350 for that manifold. For that price you could easily buy a used BEGI cast unit that will perform better and hold up to sustained abuse from buttsexing.

Now buy a t25 turbo, a BEGI/FM cast mani, and a downpipe to go with it. Although what Vlad said is true, if you can't afford to turbo the car correctly, just don't do it. Judging from your cut springs and ghetto *** headlights I'd say you should pass on the whole turbo idea.

Ha! Well I wouldent say I can't afford it. I would say more that I am a cheap ***! I live at home still and work at a reputable aerospace manufacturer as a paint tech.that being said I just never thought I would want to put money into a $300 car. I am cheap as I stated before. As far as headlights go these"ghetto *** headlights" provide much needed light far better than stock,so in that regard I would have to say don't be so closed minded. I personally hate the big flip up lights, and may even cut the bumper and make a new set Simaler to the rx7 ones. I am sorry if that came across rude but I have frankly had enough! And yes cut springs are not the best I know but get real the car was $300 you can't buy a good set of lowering springs for that. In all I will be ordering all my parts by the end of the month I have picked up a 1.8 motor and 6speed trans for 1200. I will be ordering forged pistons and rods 9.5/1 compression as per my tuner has suggested.yes I contacted a reputable tunning shop in my area I am cluless as to how a mspnp works so they will handle that part of the Install. I will be running e85 and all supporting fuel mods, including walbro 450 pump and injector dynamics 1300cc injectors. As for the turbo I am going to run a gtxt2867r this turbo is far more than capable as well as will have great spool. After talking it over with the tuner we have decided this will be the best route. As far as rear end goes I am undecided on a rx7 rear end or a 8.8 this will be the last part of reasearch I will need to do before parts are all established.

Along with clutch, and a good suspension setup and some super sticky tires. I feel that this car can be one quick car. Especially at the strip.

I am going to have to do some more reasearch on suspension but I am leaning towards penske. Maybe something along these lines.

I realize enough to know I need to have something adjustable. Due to the change in temp. As well as grip situations I think it will be intereasting playing with settings to find what works best on my setup. With all this being taken into consideration this will be my new race car and it will be a dedicated track car. My goal is to have it ready for next season at my local track. So me and a good buddy who is well versed in cars along with having built three race cars himself.will be dedicating a serious amount of time over this winter to prepair the car.

At 12-1300 for that penske setup that is not off of the cost of say tein, ksport, and even stance. So I do consider it a viable option. As well as it comes with great engineering from penske. Just my .2

I'd suggesting reading the link that you provided us a bit better. If i could get Penske setups for $1200-$1300, i'd have them on all 6 of my cars.

But so far, you're well on your way to sinking $30k into your Miata! Congrats!
