New guy from Winnipeg
Been creeping around this site for a couple years now I appreciate the knowledge and the minimal BS on this forum.I finally decided I should actually say hi as my miata is taking more of my "fun car" duties now that my mustang has been sold.
A little about me: live in the detroit metro area and work for a large oem (that will remain unnamed) doing engine calibration, specifically driveability work. I do a few autoxs and a couple track days a year but mostly the miata is used to tool around on nice days in the summer.
My car: 10AE miata, ~45k miles, my dad bought it new in 1999, I bought it from him a couple years ago when he decided he "needed" a boxster S. Its mostly stock right now (aside from little stuff like rad, coolant reroute and brake pads). I recently sold the coyote powered mustang i was using for track days (more power than I should have been driving at my skill level anyway) so the miata will now have to take over that duty, as it was formerly just an autox car. I installed a BFW GT3 and some sprint Vs in the car to make it legal/safe.
For now, I will just be getting the car ready with stock power to be reliable and fun, if I can find a good deal on a turbo/rotrex setup I might jump on that. Boring intro, but figured it should be done.
