Default Hi from Tasmania AUS

Hi

So ive owned my '90 ( 200,000k's ) for about 2 years now, and starting to learn the ins and outs of it. i was never interested in cars untill i saw the mx-5 in a car yard and within a week i owned it. To be honest it wasnt a great deal, but i love it even though its not the best.

Ive been reading here for about a year and slowly learning things bit bit with with the sticky/search/google.

My goals are to drive my car untill things start breaking and then start preping it for a decent turbo build over the next few years while maintaining it as my daily. Clutch is starting to go so that will be my starting point. im hoping to do all the work myself and learn on the way, with proper preperation ofcourse. hopfully the last thing to go is my engine so i can have one built.

My goal when finished is 250ish rwhp. ill be starting with a Begi shanghi s kit and ebay intercooler. From there comes learning to drive properly with more power while saving for a megasquirt.

Regards
Oni
