Newb from Victoria BC
Hello,
Just joined so I can help source some bits for my turbo miata build. I currently have a 1990 Blue Miata with a ugly yellow hardtop. (body kit came with the car and it is a mess underneath paint wise). This car is a very new acquisition for me, I am an old toyota guy so I have lots of questions that need answering.
Right now it is running bone stock with Koni yellows and RB springs. I have a T25 and a MS3x just hanging out from a previous project and it will probably get put to use on this car.
Just joining to get some knowledge and parts, and also a rear 1.8 diff swap because the stock diff hates me at the moment.

Welcome Joel. Beautiful bit of the planet you live on there in Victoria.
Read up on the crank nose issues on early 1.6s if you have not already. You may never have a problem but might as well know what's possible. Tons of info here if related to that, and anything else you may need to know, hiding in the search button
What Toyota projects have you put together?

I am a recent addition to Victoria, but I have to agree. It is so nice out here.
Also here are some past projects, I do all my own fab and mechanical work. The white coupe was my first ever full car rebuild and the orange car was the last one before I bought my Miata.
1974 Toyota Corolla, I bought in a field rebuilt it and drove Across Canada(Coast to Coast)
1987 Corolla GT-S, Formerly a GT-C Series race car, found in a field again, completely stripped... turned into a autox car that was street legal (barely?) and on a students budget.

The corolla was in a field and had not been run since 1998. I towed it to my old work and drained the fuel, filled it with fresh gas and replaced a fuel line and it fired right up. I threw it up on a hoist at my work and replaced the brake hoses and I drove it for a summer. I then over the winter rebuilt the floors and rockers, rebuilt and swapped to 5 speed, sr5 diff, and a bunch of general maintenance items that and old car needs. It got me across the country with only a few issues. Old jtin is super dope. But not ideal for a track car as parts are hard to come by.
