Hello all, far from original but still fun.
We bought a miata that someone hacked up. 95 M edition with no rust, real shame.
Finished cutting it, reinforced key areas, inadequate roll bar with a knockoff Lowmax, Craig's special racelands.
Odo read 230k when we got it, didn't believe it until the trans turned into a 5 speed rock tumbler. In keeping the the reasonable, sane, and conspicuous nature of the car we figured a td04l should happen. Before we find a trans. Logic.
I've been creeping around here for months now, shamelessly using your brains. I figured it's time to formalize my presence.
Thanks to everyone here for posting all the great info and insights. I'm excited to share progress.

That clear coat is amazing. I can see the engine through the hood.

 

We're in Denver, this thing has no real plan. It tells us what it wants. Built just to have fun and turn heads.
