Did you push directly forward to power shift 3rd? There is no tranny mount so the engine rocks and takes the tranny with it. With stock mounts a redline shift to 3rd is straight ahead. Also when you change your tranny fluids be sure to change the shifter fluid, it is separate from the rest of the trans. Some ford fluid that I cant remember the name of is supposed to be the best, I bought it, I like it. Like 8 bucks a quart.

lol we learned that FAIL wheel drive… sucks.

i mean i ran a buddies WS6 when i was fully bolted from a roll. 45-110 he pulled a length and a half after i got out of third……
4 months later with slicks he runs 6s in the 1/8th
in order to do that id need an extra 10k

most def on the fail wheel drive
i had a neighbor w/ a c5 w/ and intake and tune
i could pull on him from 45 all the way to 140, but in the 1/4 he would still be me
i've been ms3 to miater convert now for about a year - slowly getting the parts i need to go turbo

cute kitty. Is the car Montego blue or some other blue?

add a rollbar to the top of your list. that's the FIRST mod I do/did to any of my miatas (if it didn't already have it)

Do not drive it in primer just leave the dent until you can do it all.

Nice project you got a hold of. RB25... Neat project but won't that be a little overkill in the power dept? Your old MS3 looks exactly like a local buddy of mine. I don't even want to imagine the pile of cash he's spent on it building it to almost 500whp. It's does nothing but lose traction when it instantly builds boost. He races people from 60 rolls and has not seen a 12sec e.t. yet because he won't spend money on tires that actually stick for his power level. Good luck with the Miata.
