Due to operational security I am not allowed to talk about what branch I am in or what I do, lets say it's top secret, not saying that cause it sounds cool it happens to be a no ---- statement, but it has something to do with ships and spec ops, that's about as far as i can go with it,,, I was in baghdad for 3 years, then state side then there again for 2 years, if that tells you anything.
For everybody else... toolboxes like this kid are usually white rednecks who were misfits back in their hometown and joined the military so they could "be somebody"... except they couldn't qualify in a technical rate but still want people to think they're SEALS. It's funny that you never see the black or hispanic kids say stuff like this.
I have several personal friends who are SEALS, and they never do or say anything that would make you think they were anything more than a yeoman or cook.
Replying to a conversation on the internet with the "Due to operational blah blah can't tell you" line isn't even clever as far as wannabe tactics go.

I love this kind of crap. I have a TS/SCI clearance and one of the very first things you learn when given this kind of clearance is how to not say the stuff you just said. I don't mind mentioning it here because everybody here already knows what I do and the Chinese have a file on me 3" thick so there's nobody else I need to hide from. However, we have required training on specifically how not to say or do something that would make people think you were anything more than a run-of-the-mill grunt. But then again you couldn't impress the local chicks down at Waterside if you were a lowly mechanic.

It's funny the stuff they ask you when getting a gov't clearance.
When I listed one of my "identifiable markings" as having a ***** that was 10" around, they told me I was ineligible for a clearance because the computer system wouldn't accept that large of a number... only a single digit circumfrance would fit in the box. They had to write new code for the program just so I could qualify.
