I've been lurking around the forum for awhile, but I figure now is as good a time as any to say hello. Been stationed in Cali for 3 years, recently returned from a deployment to the 'Stan and decided to reward myself with the gift of boost once more.
From what I've been able to tell, I'm one of the rare few NC owners on here. If anyone's ever checked out the other forums (specifically miata.net), you might recognize me as one of the first guys to swap a 2.3L from a Mazda6 into one back in '08 as a "F U" to the dealership that refused to cover my blown motor under warranty.

Flash forward to the present, and it's grown to be quite a bit more than a fix-it project.

The red lines were my previous WHP/TQ numbers.

Haven't quite hit my 360RWHP goal, but hopefully will fix that once we deal with the fuel pressure issue.

This is beyond dope. Any videos of this thing in action?
Was the 2.3 swap worth the effort if left n/a? Judging from the original dyno charts, i'd guess not. Looks certainly worth it for the turbo setup though, that torque is nuts.

In N/A form it was definitely an upgrade over the stock 2.0L with the full Goodwin Racing exhaust and Fujita5 intake that I used, but my long term goal was always to go turbo once a kit for the NC came out. I originally wanted to run a DISI motor, but the firewall modification/wiring issues were more then I was willing to deal with.

lol, just haven't had the cash to drop on a set yet. Every time I saved up in the past, all of the funds ended up going towards other upgrades or fixes.
Maybe after the fuel pressure issue is fixed and I get a rollbar...
