Default Things are getting out of control... Again.

Hi from the South Island of New Zealand.
My main reason for joining is info, Im starting a new Miata racecar project, and need some help/advice from those that have been there and done that.
Currently Im racing a 1980 Corolla ke70 with a 3sge Beams engine in the South Island Endurance Series.

And have a 1996 Miata (mx5 to us), as a weekend toy.

Im hooked on the endurance racing, and although the Corolla has looked after me incredibly well, things get carried away, and I want to build something more suitable!

So taking the things I figured out while building the Corolla, and the lessons learned from racing, I hoping to build a competitive and reliable racecar that is suitable for competing in 3 hour endurance races.
Ive picked up a 1990 NA shell, that I intend to butcher, till I can get a 3sge Beams engine and gearbox to fit. n/a 2000cc keeps me in Class A, so Im not focused on outright power, more reliability, handling, and aero.
Ahhh well, we will see, here goes...
