Wanted to stop in and say Hello. I'm Mark.
I've been on the forum for a while just searching & reading all that I can.
I'm not new to the miata scene. I've just been gone for a while. This is my 3rd miata and the first two where boosted. I currently have a 97 Red miata, manual with 38k.
I've started out working on the suspension. I've installed FM's swaybars front and rear along with FM's springs /Tokico Ill. shocks. I also have a cheap front strut bar and drop in K&N airfilter left over from a friends miata. I have a Garage Vary front spoiler and a rear R package spoiler. I'm looking to boost the 97 now. I'm considering the S1 Shanghai kit from BEGI with the MegaSquirt. Looking for a low boost application around 8psi. I had bandaids on my first miata with JRSC BBK and the Link on my second with FMII kit. I'm concerned about tuning the car with MS. I want to set the car up and leave it alone. It's my dailydriver and I don't want to tinker on it everyday.

welcome to the forum! im sure you'll fit in just nice here at miataturbo.net, most people on the forum will point you towards using MS as you may already know from searching. check the tech forums, everything you needa know about ms is posted as stickies!

I'm a noob myself so maybe I should just keep my typing fingers still; but reading some of the noobs posts it just seems like they are so insecure about being “dissed” that they get into pissing matches with old timers that may have schooled them on something but also have given them helpful advice. How hard is it to say something like; I'm still learning the way you guys do things here and thanks for the help.
Some of these guys can't even handle m.net without getting in pissing matches.

My name is Christina and I just joined the forums. I have a '91 1.6L miata hardtop that I bought about a year ago (April 2009) as a project car. I'm pretty much done fixing it up, as it had a lot of issues, and have debated btwn/ supercharging and turboing it. I decided to turbo it but joined the forums to do some more research on it before I make a move.

Hey everyone...read all the time but just now starting to post...have a 92 with and FMII kit built motor with 323gtx pistons and rods and some head work...last dyno was 231 HP. Does need some work and am probably going to post an ad trying to sell the car...gonna look for a newer one to modify. Looking forward to being on the forum.
