Hello guys! I just signed up and am just introducing myself! I have a 1990 Miata that I actually bought on a whim so that me and my father could have a father son project. We are in no way mechanics, however it was always his dream to restore cars, so I got it to not only rebuild and make fast, but to help my dad fulfill his dream. With the help of two friends (who actually are mechanics) we have done the following:

Performance Mods:
-Track Dog Racing Performance Brake Upgrade with Drilled/Slotted Rotors
-Raceland Coilovers (don't hate... my Mazda 3 has H&R's )
-RacingBeat Cold Air Intake
-New front upper control arms and replaced ball joints all around

Performance Mods Yet to be Installed:
-Custom 3" exhaust
-Megasquirt ECU
-460cc Redtop RX-7 Injectors
-Firebird Turbo

Interior/Exterior Mods
-Sparco R300 Racing Seats
-BBS Reps 15x8 (got them for $300 for new tires and used them to get my desired height and the car aligned. Will swap out with real racing wheels/rims when tracked)

Current Interior Mods:
-Me and Father are in the process of laying down brand new carpet. I messed up on a few of the pieces because cutting it was a pain, but nothing carpet tape and a heat iron can't fix!
-Repainting the complete interior (I have TSP, Wax and Grease Remover, Primer, Viynl paint, Clear coated everything)... it looks BEAUTIFUL
-We also replaced the dash with one we got from a junk yard... It is repainted and literally looks brand new...
-Installed interior lighting that will be mounted as soon as carpet is done
-Put a 8"amp sub combo that I will custom build a box for once the funds permit

I will post pictures of the car this weekend as soon as the interior is done!
