People like to rag on NB1's but look at how many there are turboed on this site. 9.5:1 CR is another plus IMO, over NB2's 10:1, for the FI (not everyone has E85).

MSM's are pretty. No question.

Reason(s) I went with my mazdaspeed.... "That front bumper doh..." & Clean interior/exterior & Ti paint color.
When I arrived at the dealership 4 hours away, I was surprised with a BEGi S3 kit under the hood. And a life time supply of lemonade

Yeah the plan now is to definitely go megasquirt before going FI. I started to read through the "how to tune your megasquirt" section on their site and it looks like there's quite the learning curve which I'm sure I can handle.
I'm in no rush to get one so It'll probably be a while until I find the right one at a decent price.
Lot's of plans that will all take time.
I want whichever one I get to eventually be a track car

I found an NA last weekend, MINT condition with 84k miles with a hardtop for only 2000 but I called the lady selling it 16 hours after she posted it and it was already gone. I probably would've just flipped it to be honest since I want to get an NB now but still.. It was a great deal I missed out on
