For running about 12 psi on a megasquirt, any reason I should get 550 cc injectors instead of 460cc? I will have a stock fuel pump..

According to Brains calculations, I only need 400cc.. so 460cc's should be plenty.. correct?

 

yeap...that should be enough...460 is good...

 

Get the 460s, they'll idle better and be good to around 250 HP at stock fuel pressure.

 

my duty cylces are getting a lil too high for my 460's. I gotta figure out why that thing is making 18 lbs of boost. :-/

 

are you running rx7 460s? I'm running rceng 440s, and at 17.5 psi I still have some headroom. I think there's a lot to be said about nozzle type injectors vs pintle type.

 

yup, the rx7 460's. since i had never had the car up to that boost level it wasn't tuned for it so it was running a lil rich which is raising the DC a lil. 11.8 AFR. I do not plan to run that much boost so once i figure out that problem the 460's should be plenty.
