Aem strikes again
My buddy just got an aem uego and megasquirt ms-1, we are trying to set it up but none of the options for wideband correspond with the gauge, so what do we do to make it correct. The uego is a 30-5130

It looks like AEM gives the chart for that gauge in this PDF:

Took me about 5 minutes to open the file, find the right string of code and make the change. The key is to do it in the "PROJECT" you are working in. I didn't even bother to change the string of code in the base config.
Since learning about this minor issue with the UEGO, I've advised a few other people in my area NOT to buy the UEGO if they aren't willing to modify the code or change the parameters for their volts settings to align it properly. My change brought the UEGO in line with the displayed AFR but others have had issues.
Since MS offers a unit that is compatible with their software, I'd go that route personally. Just buy the Inovate LC1 or MTX and be done with it. Of course, you don't know about this unless you either buy the unit and try to use it, or search and read abou it. Most members find out the hard way.
