So, would whatever the heck all the maps from the Innovate XD-16 be so much superior to what the Megalogviewer logs? Is it really worth an extra $150 for superior tuning?

 

Megatune datalogs all the AFR data you could ever need. You don't need to buy the XD-16 gauge, buy the cheaper DB gauge instead if you're worried about money.

 

both are recording the same signal.

the gauge can playback whatever you just recorded....and that does what for you? do you have any clue what rpm that was? no. any clue what tps you were at? no. any clue what the MAT or CLT was? no. will it tell you if maybe your enrichments were adding fuel? no.

Yep, much better than recording logs on your EMS.
