Default Almost there!!!!

Ok so I have the wideband and megasquirt installed. loaded the base tune from trubokitty. Now going to verify timing is at 10. However with the megasquirt in do I still need to jumper the diagnostics port to check/adjust timing with cas?

No, you can do so within tunerstudio. I forget what the menu entry is called but its under ignition options

Under ignition menu you can fix timing (set it to 10) on a pulldown versus having it reference the table. Set it to fixed and use your timing light as normal. Adjust the offset in the same window until you’re at 10 degrees.

So you loaded the trubokitty.com DIYPNP map onto your MSPNP2?

unfortunately no the link just showed dos prompt so I went with base map provided. I've now got the car running and idling...though a bit high... but it is running hella lean. What values do I need to adjust? Also when I press the accelerator it wants to cut out. please and thank you for any help

You should do some reading, before you blow your engine up.. Have you set ReqFuel?

If you are running lean, you have to adjust your (idle) VE table and up the values till it shows ~14-15 afr on the gauge. Does you wideband gauge show similar numbers as TS?
Tuning your VE table should also fix your throttle issues, but a little bit of AE tuning might be necessary.

Read, read, read!
