Default Anyone running a BEGi turbo w/ MS here?

I have been thinking of the BEGi kit, wondering if anyone has run one with the MS yet?

There wouldn't be anything special about a BEgi kit and MS... It's the year of the miata that changes things.

Anyway, my setup is similar to a begi.

I see. I have been seeing some posts from Keith @ FM on the other board stating how important it is to use a computer that has been carefully matched to the kit, I guess I am looking for advice when ordering from BEGi, should I get no fuel system and use MS for lots less $$, or get the XEDE, which should be plug and play and optimized, but more $$.

Or I could use the BEGi rising regulator setup, but I am giving up 20+ HP that way...

The car is a 91 1.6, it has AC and PS, but I don't care about either.

I don't know why someone would say you need to match an ECU with a setup... it's the ECU calibration that matters.

I think that's the best way to do it, if you don't want to build your own kit. (Very understandable.)

Begi kit with no fuel system + PnP 550cc RX7 injectors and a PnP MS harness from kingofl337, hell he'd probably do your board mods as well.

As painless and powerful as a full begi XEDE setup for MUCH less.

From a technical support standpoint it might be important to some folks to buy the ECU that was designed with the kit/sold by that vendor....otherwise, they won't be able to really help you.

Dude, the same Megasquirt that someone runs on their Ford Mustang will work on a turbo Miata, using a few different sensors and different tuning, of course, so there's no way merely a different intercooler or downpipe or manifold is going to cause an MS to work on one turbo Miata and not another.

If your talking about predetermined maps, then yes. But you'll probably want to go in an tweak it from defaults anyways.

That is quite interesting, as I only live about 50 miles away from kingofl337, I have talked with him before about 'helping' w/ a MS.

Any idea where is a good place to source RX7 injectors? (BTW... what is PnP?)
