I currently have a Speedy EFI PnP unit and am thinking of upgrading to an MS3X. I don't mind doing a little wiring, so Im interested in the savings of getting one of the universal assembled units, instead of a PnP. I would like to re-used the harness adapter that came with the SpeedyEFI unit. The adapter contains the alternator control module. I assume that since I have a dedicated module for alternator control I don't need to make any hardware changes to the ECU to make the alternator work? Based on the directions on trubokitty.com, since I have a BP4W, and don't need VVT, I shouldn't need to make any hardware alterations at all?

Just wanting to make sure I fully understand the compatibility before I make the jump.
