I bought a MS3x from DIYautotune last year, assembled it and then I ran out of time and did not touch it until now.

I think that I used the DIYautotune instructions to assemble and I think that everything is there but I would appreciate if someone could have a look to be sure that I did not forget anything. I intend to install it in my currently stock 2003 miata.

I have one more question for you. In one of your post (that I am unable to find right now), I remember reading that a pullup resistance is needed to control the NB alternator. Is this the case? What is the best way to do that?

 

Should I just pick any unused PWM output and connect a 1k resistor between the DB37 pin of the output and the 5v on the proto section of the board?

 

i use the VVT output and do a 1K resistor to VCC.
