Default Autotune removing fuel

Autotune is continually and constantly removing fuel from my fuel map. After autotuning it every time I get in the car (whether the trip is 20 mins or 3 hours)

I've been recalibrating my O2 sensor every other tuning drive. It's still regularly removing fuel from my tune (Sometimes I do see cells where it adds fuel, but a later drive removes the added fuel...)

Anything to worry about, or am I just being overly paranoid? At what point should I expect it to stop removing fuel?

Thanks for not posting a log or your MSQ.

Why is auto tune turned on? I have been running the same tune on my car for like 2 years and haven't changed it. Car runs great.
Moral of the story:
Tune your car to your liking and disable autotune.

I hate this piece of **** laptop so much. It ate my earlier post.

Hustler, I uploaded the msq in this post. I'll get logs tomorrow if so desired. 230kpa is my Madagascar kpa.

Thirdgen, I would assume that if my fuel was close to being dialed in, it would stop pulling so much fuel in each run, right? I don't think this table is anywhere near being dialed in based on that.

What do the logs say? What does the wideband say?
If its fine yet pulling fuel then some setting got fubard. I had this happen when I accidentally flipped something on the EGO correction settings (iirc) and it would constantly pull fuel til it ran so lean it woulnd't drive.

Also don't trust autotune to dial the car in for you. Trust it to shape up a rough curve/map, then fine tune it by hand/etc.

you're using a filter on that **** to prevent it from thinking that accel enrichments are normal right?

put this in your filter box:

Code:
(tpsDOT > 10) || (rpm < 1300 && fuelload < 40) || (advance < 1 )
it'll ignore fast throttle changes, idle, and rev limiters (if your advance is <1 when your limiter is on).

you can also select sells and "lock" them.

Thanks for the tips, y8s. I have my idle cells locked.

Sadly, I currently lack a TPS, so that's not available. But I'll throw in the rest fo it, thank you. I was unaware of that.

then maybe change the tpsdot to a mapdot and set it at a number where you're lightly accelerating but don't require more fuel.

Maybe it's just me, but when I get to the point where I'd need to disable TPSdot for correction, I manually finish the tune.

nobody is disabling tpsdot. just VE analyze live when tpsdot is too high to get reliable results.

you might find this absolutely crazy but you can be at high rpm and high boost without moving the throttle very fast.

Right, but it's going to be more of a pain to make the filter, reduceTPSdot, or drive like a woman than to just manually tune those cells. You guys get to do whatever you want, I'll do what I want.

VEAL already filters rpmDOT. Watch it when you blip the throttle, it filters a bunch of crap so you dont have to.

Let me clarify this for myself:

pasting that line I posted into the custom filter box in VEAL and hitting "OK" and going out and autotuning is more of a pain than doing it manually?

I mean sure you will only get a map that is 90% done but you'll still have to do the same amount of driving either way to get logs that show all areas. and then for your way you have to remember to ignore regions of the log where accel enrichment is active anyway.

Here is the smaller of the two logs. I have an 8MB log with a lot more interesting detail, but MT.net gives me the angry eye when I try to upload it.

I misunderstood. Yes, I do this anyway.
