Ballpark settings to fire up VVT turbo on mk1 loom
Hi all,
I have a Westfield kit car which was running a mk1 1.8 with MS3 and turbo'ed. The engine started suffering low oil pressure so swapped it out with a mk2 VVT engine with the same turbo setup. I split the old CAS wiring to the separate cam and crank sensors and at some point it did fire but I seem to have lost the tune when it was just about starting. I also have the fab9 COP kit installed. Crank sensor plate is the standard mk1 with the 4 notches.
Does anyone know what I should be using for the igntion spark mode? When I have it on Miata 99-05 I get sync loss 32.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
