Default check out this spark map

Hey guys,
Let me know what you think about the safety of this spark map. I originally had the idle cells around 15.5-16, but I saw my oil pressure gauge flickering a bit in that area after the car warmed up to around 200 F. Everywhere else it pulls strong and the oil pressure is steady. I'm in Texas so my ambient temps can get up to 100 F.

idle timing shouldn't have much to do with oil pressure unless you're raising/lowering rpm with it (you shouldn't). The rest looks conservative, should be fine.

It just freaked me out because it seems like it was knocking. You think it's fine even with 100 F ambient temp? I guess I should tweak MAT timing retard some more to account for the massive heatsoak I'm getting. Sorry if it seems like I'm being too ocd, but I'm in college and can't really afford an engine build.

it cannot knock at idle. retarding timing at idle from heat is.........retarded.
if it does knock at idle, then you have a much bigger problem

If your engine is knocking at idle and your oil pressure is flickering on and off you probably have a bearing or oil pump issue. As your engine is warming up and the space between components increases, the oil pressure decreases. If your clearances are too loose or the pump is failing then you'll experience knocking.

If possible check oil pressure with a mechanial gauge to verify that it isnt an electronic issue

Are you really only making 7.5psi?

maybe its an MS thing (I don't use them) but why do you have 3 rows of cells all set to "please don't blow up" numbers? can/would you not like to use those cells to tune and change the breakpoints to something more usable?
