Default Communication port fail

I finally got my car done. Followed Reverands instructions but my computer wont connect to the megasquirt.
I downloaded the FTDI drivers, version 2.12.12.0 on my Windows 10 laptop. I verified that it is connecting to the laptop under device manager. Its COM3 @ 115200 bits/second. Every time I try to connect to tuner studio, tuner studio says connection failed. If I try to "detect port" it doesn't detect anything.
The car actually starts and idles fine.
What do I do?

Well, I restarted tuner studio and the problem fixed itself.
Now I need to figure out why the tachometer doesn't work and why the fuel pump runs non stop instead of just priming the line for 2 seconds when you turn the ignition on.

The tach on a 90 is driven by the ignitor, so if you don't have that you need to read the cop thread and splice things together so the coils or megasquirt runs the tach.

The fuel pump is weird on na6 cars too. I have no advice, no idea how rev does it.

Fuel pump: You did remove the STSIGN fuse per the instructions, right?

I did, the weird part is that the st sig fuse was there in the fuse box, even though the car was running on mspnp1 last year with the 1.6
