Long story short... I just picked up a Turbo Miata. It will start but runs very very rough. It currently has an MS PNP 2 that my laptop is failing to communicate with. I installed the drivers from https://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/CDM...0Certified.zip per Megasquirts directions but no luck. Getting the below error. Any ideas? PS: I am using a serial to USB adapter. The previous owner said he didn't have an issue with communication. This is the error i am receiving upon installing the driver. Eye Candy
That error looks pretty clear to me. Windows was unable to install your USB-serial adapter because it has no driver for it. What you installed were the drivers for the Megasquirt, not for your USB-serial adapter. You're welcome.
