My build has definitely entered the more complicated portion.
How is everyone going to run their ignition? Right now we have managed to run the cops through the ignitor. The diypnp has the ability to control them directly. I think that you could bypass the ignitor circuit all together and use the db15 to supply the 12v, gnd, and tach. Matt brought up a good point though. Using the direct control ignition will use two more of your available outputs.
Should we keep the tried and true through the ignitor method, or get fancy and use only the diypnp?
I'm inclined to go the easier route and and use the two ignition outputs and go through the ignitor.
Sequential injection will use two of the db15 pins. I haven't looked at the car harness, but I assume that there are two injectors going into each pin. Cut one from each pin and wire to the db15 inj outputs and that should be it. I plan on wiring cyl1 to inj output 1 etc.
Please feel free to jump in and tell me if I'm about to do something incorrectly. I really don't want to mess this up.

Wire your ignition up the easy way plus run 2 extra wires from the db15 for individual coil control.
Sequential COP > whatever you were going to do with those 2 outputs.
You need to purchase the add on card for sequential fuel, but you'd still wire it like normal, add 2 wires to the db15, and modify the harness at the injectors. The wiring should already be in place if you had a working Link.

I think there should also be more Jumpers.. because there are only two Jumper Bridges shipped with it, also a DP15 Plug should be with it. Maybe the cheap Map hose also, this are only cheap cent articles, but they whould be the life make easyer for much people who starting to tune there cars. I also think the "Manual" should be with it. Easy part, just make the most selling with a Manual, like for the Miatas and the other with a easy to read manual for universal use...

I don't know what a "jumpersocket" is, but can't believe you'd say something about $10 worth of parts when you basically just got half price engine management.
I don't care about the printed manual. You're going to have your computer in front of you when you're building it anyway. And again, it's bargain basement pricing.

That is only my idea, maybe no other need a manual.. i whould be happy if i had one.
It whould als be make the life easyer when there are a Multilingual Manual out there, do you know how hard technical english is for a non english native ?
I am sure there are many people out there, who will spend some U$D for a readable and understandable manual.
This is my opinion about this, half price emu or not.
If you make the first step, you should also make the second.

I don't know why you would need to do that. But that's an "extra" feature I wouldn't expect to come in the box.
Here's the flip side. Less than 1% of users will want to do that. Why would the other 99% need to be forced to pay for it? Wasteful.

So i can jumper that 4 jumpers, and i can also drive "normal" without the 4 Spark out´s?
why then there are 4 jumpers, if i dont need them anyway?
Why i should pay for the useless resistors, which are supplied with?
This is the same.. 4 more jumper sockets are not that expensive..

I knew that, because it was in the manual, that I took time to read completely before starting work. It's also common sense.
If you're running waste spark, jump A and B. If you're running individual coils, then jump all 4.
Spark C & D can alternatively be used as general purpose outputs.
There are no useless resistors, you don't waste anything. You'll have bits of snipped off component legs from assembling the mainboard.

I am a bit confused now, about the 4 Spark OUTS,
if i understand that right, i have to jumper the #1 and #2, but i dont need to wire them to the DP15, because they are going to stock wiring?
If i make 4 COILS then i solder them to the DP15 and wire them to the 4 Coils, right?
If a buy also the "Sequential addon" i wire them also to the DB15 and wire them to INJ 3 and 4 on the engine.

They're for the power on the DB9 and the bootloader jumper - it's generally safer to hardwire the other connections, since you won't change them when it's built, and hardwired connections can't vibrate off.
There's a couple reasons we don't have a print manual yet, just the online one. One is that we're constantly adding new applications, hopefully at the rate of 2-3 a month. So a manual would probably be missing some of the latest applications by the time you get a copy. In fact, it's new enough that I may need to make some clarifications based on feedback from our users.
And yes, the lack of a print manual is also a cost cutting measure. We might print up a few if there's enough demand though.
Veillich mein Deutch werdet du ein Katzenjammer geben. Dein Englisch ist besser als mein Deutch. Es gibt zu viel Jahre als ich habe Deutch gelernen. (And if I tried to write the manual in any other language, it would be even more painful to read than my attempt at speaking German.)
