Is your DIYPNP built for sequential injection?

Edit: I just saw the seq module in the photo so it is.

Yes it is wired for sequential! Apparently something is wrong with the map. Perhaps I screwed it up when I first connected it to the laptop? Won't TS pull the map off the ECU, not vise versa? Anyway, just waiting for a new map.

Could you post a copy of your current MSQ? Looks like something's trying to use PT6 or PT7, but it is not one of the regular spare outputs.

The problematic one is the one I posted. Waiting for Brain to send me a new one. I did request for control of the AC fan relay, which was implemented through the ALED output.

Could it be possible that I inadvertenly uploaded the practice project i created to check out the features of TS when I first connected the laptop, erasing brain's preloaded map? Meaning I caused all this myself?

Interesting, I don't see anything else using PT7 and PT6, but it could be a firmware corruption problem. Or you could have loaded it with regular MS2 code instead of Microsquirt code.

Default It lives! Kinda...

Uploaded the attached msq from Braineack, and it cleared the config error! Started the car, and it runs! A bit like crap for now.

When I switched to fixed timing, it died on me. Wouldn't start for a while until I turned the idle screw a bit to give it more air.

But when it's nice and hot, it won't start. It cranks, but won't catch on.

Could anyone assist? I attached 3 datalogs. 1st cold, 2nd stable, third hot cranking.

Checked the plugs, they were kinda sooty.

Just a liiiitlle moooore....

EDIT: After cleaning the plugs, the car started up easily, idles smoother. And of course, now my timing light is acting up! AAAARRRGGG. Gotta borrow another one...

Dash screenies. Everything looking OK?

OK back at the shop. Car isn't starting again! Plugs dirty again.

Tried to reload the msq, got this:

What's going on here? So frustrating...

Have you calibrated the TPS? Try starting it with the throttle fully pressed down to go in flood clear mode. Then reduce the ranking pulsewidth.

No tps, set to 254/255

Tried disconnecting the vacuum line to the box, map still reads 100! Strong fuel smell, plugs are wet and sooty again.

Shop's closing. Dammit.

Wait- aren't my map readings way off? What should I be seeing at idle?

EDIT: Sorry, at this point, I lost my mind. Quite clearly. LOL

Map reading should be slightly lower than 100 during cranking - 90 to 95 is the norm. 100 is normal with the vacuum line off.

Try this map, but clean your plugs first.

Idling, you should be between 27 and 35. Since you were idling really lean, the engine wasn't running well, hence the decreased vacuum reading.

This is quickly getting over my head.

Why did I suddenly get an error code when I loaded the msq from Braineack, which loaded perfectly this morning? Car was idling fine, see above data logs...

Attaching log of the last cranking attempt.

Will change to new plugs tomorrow. And pray for a better day.

Reading reading reading. Ooooh 100kpa is atmo

OK I think I'm losing my objectivity here, and panicking. Losing brain function! I was thinking "why the hell is it reading boost when I'm not in boost"? So the map sensor is correct...

Is your TPS disconnected? Physically unplugged?

Yup! If only it were that simple a solution... :(

Some questions
1. Am I correct in saying that I'm cranking rich, but iding lean?
2. I haven't synced the timing yet, could that be a factor? I'd sync the timing, but I can't start it yet!
