Default DIYPNP sequential injection runs rough and sounds like a subaru

Hey guys I'm hoping someone can provide some input. I pulled the link out of my car and installed a DIYPNP v1.5 that I put together. I followed Brains instructions but during the firmware boot process it came up with some error messages and same thing with the tune loading but it seemed to take. I'm going to re try again but for now here are my settings.

I verified that I have continuity between VR2 and pin 25 on the microsquirt board.
I'm hoping that I made an obvious mistake in the setting somewhere after trying to piece together info between how to set up the sequential injection.

1995 1.8
v1.5 DIYPNP
EV14 780cc injectors with .8 ms lag
running sequential injection with the upgrade kit wired to brains instructions.

Thanks for any help.

I just tested the coils in test mode and I have spark so it must be a setting. Also I re loaded the 94-95 turbo basemap and these are the errors I get

Also I'm guessing I should be using the selected option here?

I'm sorry for my MS ignorance

So small update, I was previously using the 9495 turbo map linked below.
I reloaded firmware to the ecu and tried the 9495 sequential map from the diypnp page. tested the coils again and they worked fine. I could hear them going nuts and my tach jumped to about 2000 rpm

To add another quirk into the mix I just read about the ST SIGN fuse, I can hear my fuel pump prime and the test control function works but I have been running with the ST SIGN fuse installed. Is it possible I damaged something?

Upload your current tune and a log of it cranking.

I don't know that it has anything to do with it but you have your timing offset set to 0. Normally these cars are set to 10*. Have you confirmed timing with a light?

That and you have fixed timing instead of use table but since the car isn't running that may not matter yet.

Oh and I don't think you are supposed to use cam input when running 4G63 ignition but not sure about that.

Here is a composite log of cranking and I have attached my current tune. I have also noticed that my RPM gauge only registers 1 RPM during cranking.

I have left the ST-SIGN fuse in, and my fuel pump primes with key on and turns on and off in the test function. I'm weary to test the injectors in the test function as I don't want to screw something up.

You are not getting a cam signal, check your cam input circuits.

I have connected VR2 to Terminal 4G and installed the 5v 470ohm pullup. Am I missing something else in the circuit?

just realized that I had a resistor populated on R20. Removed the resistor and she fired up. Runs rough but it idled for a while.

Hopefully I can get this thing drive able now.

Thanks Reverant

So I got things sorted out and went driving tonight, the car has a mild vibration now and the exhaust note has changed significantly. I took my time letting the VE table auto tune and my AFRs are stable, my timing light is acting up a bit but it was set at 10* before and as far as I can tell its very close with no correction. I was wondering if its normal for the exhaust note to change. It sounds like a whole different car. Only changes were to 780cc EV14s and the DIYPNP from the previous setup.

Here is a copy of my current tune. Am I missing something in the settings perhaps?

Thanks

Runs rough, sounds like a Subie= misfire. Log it running.

Check spark/fuel connections. Maybe the seq inj connections.

Well I found that I had a pin on the injectors that I was sketptical about and some debris got under the lower injector seal causing a vacuum leak and a slight fuel leak, got it fixed up and the car is running well besides the AFR swinging back and forth at idle regardless of RPM. Needs some more tuning but I'm on my way.

Thanks for the help guys.
