Default Fan Control on MS2 Enhanced (i.e. Rev built)

Sorry, as usual the search brings up EVERYTHING that mentions fan and I can't find my way through it to pick out what is relevant to the MS2 enhanced ECU I have.

"Search Noob" is all well and good but the search sucks **** nuts. I get nothing or everything...

Having stuffed up a previous install reading from the wrong MS2 instruction I think it is better to ask directly.

I have removed the goosneck and fan sensor from the front of my motor and I need to know how to wire in the lead to the ecu and setup in the config. I realise it just needs to be earthed to run but the expansion plug makes no mention of a fan option...(37 pin D plug).

Can anyone help out with relevant links or advice please?

As usual, 3 days till a major race meeting and jamming to get car ready.

It will be nice to have it done once and for all...

You don't need to do anything. It's already pre-wired through the stock harness and setup in the ECU.

Thanks Rev.

Does this mean cutting off the sensor plug and taping up the wire is all i need to do?

Correct. Do verify that it is working as intended though.

Is the same true for your Basic MS3? I've also deleted the front thermostat housing and water neck and need to figure out what to do with the stock 1.6 fan thermistor.

Kyle, just tuck the connector out-of-sight. The fan is controlled in software.
