I think those are just simple DPDT switches.

I've done the days of driving in icy winters with in a car with nothing but a racing seat, gauges, peddles, shifter and steering wheel. My heater was the heat coming off the transmission, minus the water sprayed up through the transmission tunnel. There's no reason to put someone down because they don't want to be as hard-core as someone else.

On a different note. I do like how you're running both systems in parallel to keep the emissions equipment. Are the switches just redirecting the injector/coil outputs between the stock and MS ECU's? Did you wire up transistors or relays to do the switching?
I meant the pansy *** comment as a semi-sarcastic joke. Lighten up a bit and we'll get along better.

If you want more info on the switch box and my parallel install you can search for my thread on "parallel install schematic". Diagram, PNs, etc should all be there.

It's hard to tell when someone's being sarcastic online, especially since I'm new and neither of us knows the others personalities (my fault for jumping the gun). The Miata crowd is also a different bread than the turbo Mustang crowd that I hail from. I'll search for your other thread, thanks.

I like this. Maybe I'll consider this on my daily driver subaru. EMB + oem subaru ecu = not happy.

It's a great way to diagnose wiring and ECU problems. You can easily cut one system out by switching. I've also got mine setup with the insulated blade terminals such that I can remove the switch box entirely in about 30 minutes once I'm satisfied that the MS is happy.

The parallel install has some great advantages over stand-alone for a DD in my OPINION.

The stock ecu handles all of the emissions crap (aka OBD2 legal), as well as idle, fuel pump switch, tach, etc.

The MS just handles the stuff we need to be able to adjust for power reasons. Fuel & Spark.

(to get this one back on topic) for what it is worth, my cruise control works with the PnP MS. Magna is right, the cruise is a separate system.

they also sell universal cruise control kits for whoever doesn't have one, being its own system it can be installed away from the turbo components...
