Default finally, MS on the way

finally ordered my megasquirt from Scott (Braineack)

I want to understand this thing and get tuning before I go turbo. Maybe pick up a few hp (96rwhp FTL) by deleting the maf and tweaking fuel and spark settings.

let's hope so.
delete the maf and relocate air filter to coldside, might even gain some improved throttle response too
getting an LC-1 too, might aswell do it right the first time

+1. once youve had a standalone with a good tune you'll never want to go back... excpt for emissions, and that's a maybe.

booyah

MS came in today, together with standalone harness, IAT sensor, Innovate LC-1, KnocksenseMS and the FM mounting bolt and some vacuum line .
Just waiting for the header to arrive and I can start tinkering around, too bad my mother took the laptop on holiday

Hey... Don't put the LC-1 sensor in stock location.

started my build today.
pulled the stock header and EGR-pipe, and some various pieces of crap. testfitted my new stainless header.
also tore up the interior and pulled the stock ecu. need to route vacuumline, hardmount MS underneath the dashboard en install LC-1 and IAT sensor, aswell as making an EGR blockoff plate out of some sheet aluminum and finding a testpipe instead of the gutted cat.
bear with me..

does the knocksenseMS have to be mounted to a motormount or can I bolt it to one of the bolt holes of where the AC bracket would be? (I have just PS)

it's too cold and/or rainy to work on the car. LC-1 to be installed, together with the KnocksenseMS, get the wiring done and start tuning
