it you haven't set your trigger wizard stuff, then I wouldn't expect it to be correct.

Curly, you are correct for MSI, but in MS there's a simple selection that says fixed timing or use map.

if it's dying when you go to fixed 10* then the timing isn't accurate. You can just display your spark angle, see what the MS thinks it's outputting compared to what your are seeing with a light and know how far you are off.

had to set my trigger wizard to about -6 to get it to be exactly at 10 BTDC when set at fixed. so that's good. however, it's still oscillating.

I tried closing my idle valve screw all the way to see if the car would start in order to check for a vac leak. It started, looked like it tried to idle around 400-500, and then died. I've reseated my injectors many times, but the result is still the same with the oscillating.

Here are a couple logs that I took, although short. One is during idle when oscillation wasn't as bad yet, another is cranking, start, oscillation, and dead. I have no idea how to read this stuff.

Now when I think about it, there was a tiny cap thing that I did accidentally knock off during the beginning of my coolant reroute. I've included a pic too, but at the time it didn't seem like it was an actual cap to something that had vacuum. Just hoping it's not anything of importance. It looks like it had a crack in the top of it anyway. The car was running just fine before I put it in the garage for the turbo install

vacuum leaks wont cause oscillation, untune fuel, spark, idle settings will.

cap looks like cover to headlight motors. or the hood stoppers.

bwahahah, upped my VE tables a bit, and my a/f ratios stopped going all crazy and did some VE live analyze and watched it adjust it even more. too bad I now have a coolant leak on the back where I installed the begi reroute spacer, and on the front where I made my own block off plate O.o

maybe I didn't clean enough, SUCK!

ok, everything is cleaned and back together. no more coolant leaks. fiveomotorsports EV14 injectors are in..... 850cc, and I think my req fuel is like 2.3 or 3.2 I forget

Also changed my injector open time to .74, as I'm assuming that means dead time? that's what the sheet for these injectors says at 14v

I'm getting a hum from the injectors when I'm sitting with the ignition on. normal? lol

Injector test mode, all injectors make noise when tested with megasquirt

The car starts... then dies. Haven't changed my timing since I had it set from before. Why is my luck so bad?
