You need to provide some info on your setup and your intentions so one would have a general idea of what type of base map you need. Being that vague you could end up with a tune that doesn't run, runs poorly or blows your motor up in 5 minutes.

Post a meet and greet thread with a description like EO2K said. Add some personal info so we know what you're capable of. Pics are a plus. We love eye candy.

If this is your first rodeo, visit the DIY sticky here:https://www.miataturbo.net/diy-turbo-discussion-14/diy-faq-all-your-answers-one-big-post-4288/

This way you'll have an idea what you're in for and how to get there. While your're browsing check out the other sections and stickies as well.

Whatever you do, do not get boost fever(if you have a turbo) and run the car without a good base map.

Carry on.

opss..

Thanks for both reply.

My car is a 94' NA. Fitted with
1.9 high compression piston from Flyin Miata,
252, 256 cam from Maruha
ITB system from Mazdaspeed,
DIY COP and the coil is taken from Toyota alphard 3.5
currently running MS1 with Alpha-N .

This is a everyday car which i use to go work everyday. I sometimes take it for a spin on the street~~ hehe~~

I have bought the MS2 card and was trying to move all the setting from my previous msq but I found there is a lot of setting which is new to me.

So I am trying to find some help here before i blow up my engine.

Sorry for my bad English~~

Thanks~~

you need more than a basemap, you need to modify the board.

you can use the basemaps for the DIYPNP for your model year, but remember to keep your own settings like spark inversion.

Admin Note: Stop harassing the guy and just help him upgrade his MS.

correct me if i am wrong, i read some post talking about if I am not adding new function like stepper motor etc i don't need to do the jumper.

Or do I need to do the wiring of your graph?

I am a noob on wiring thing like this.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to harass anyone. Didn't intend it to sound that way. Just trying to get a little background on him and the car and cover some general stuff just in case. It's not the worst retort to someones first post. I though it was rather indifferent.

I apologize If it sounded mean or ignorant. That wasn't my intention.

Woo! My first admin edit!
... but seriously, sorry Brain, wasn't trying to be a dick. Was just trying to get more infos out there to better help the guy. I probably have access to a copy of a very conservative base map for an MS2 running in a 95 with a turbo, but it doesn't sound like it will be useful.
oprso: Listen to Braineack, he's like some sort of megasquirt ninja. If anyone can help you, he can. Sorry if I came off like a jackass.

the MSII requires a different input circuit than the MSI. that and the spark outputs get flipped around.

the above documents show what you need to do when changing from a MSI to MSII.

I am doing the same thing this weekend. Installing an MS2 daughtercard to my ver. 3.0 MS1. Built 2 years ago as per your guide Brain. I believe all that has changed on your guide since then is the method used to activate the fuel pump. Assuming that everything listed above will apply to me?

Can I just pull out and save my spark, fuel, and AFR target tables, then load the most recent ms2extra code, load a "tune" from the MSPNP package, then reload the three table and start autotuning?

And should I need to make any changes to the wiring harness? again all built as per your writeup.
