Grr. I still feel slighted that they didn't choose me as a beta tester. I'm testing a new controller at work right now...

Sorry Joe--But at some point, I'm pretty confident we'll have something nifty for you to get your hands on first.

The test bench has 8 injectors too, fitted on top of and firing into a clear tube and are fed with a fluid that approximates gas. It just wasn't hooked up for today's test.

FWIW (and I'm not trying to schill here), it's quite possible that we "might" just announce having a small quantity of MS3 processors and/or ECUs tomorrow.

What would be the cheapest cost to get a running ms3 setup together?

I forgot, do i need a trigger wheel to do sequential fuel or spark?

that video needs music that matches...just like those Christmas light videos by Mannheim Steamroller....

You need a crank sensor and a cam sensor, where the cam sensor gives you an absolute indication as to which phase of the crank is which. An NA CAS would probably fulfill this requirement if someone codes a custom setup for it (like they did with the NB on the MS2) otherwise you'd probably have to remove one of the two CMP triggers.

The generic config for full sequential is a single pulse per cam rev, plus whatever crank teeth you've got.

Inline 8... cool...

Don't make me want another ECU already - hadn't even time to really test the DIYPNP...

The NA CAS works with sequential, no need to remove any triggers or code anything.

Brain, get modding your MSII chip, it's not hard and it'll be worth it

We should be setting pricing some time today.

I think later today we'll hook up the ECU to the test bench's injectors, some cooling fans, and maybe a couple of other things.

Oh damn you ben...

Here is a Q about getting my hands on one of these. I did a quickie google and found the infoz on it via ms3efi.com and really like what I'm seeing. Are you guys going to be offering a unit similar to whats shown there? 3.57 main board, the processor and its board along with the USB, flash and all i/o headers?

Basically, This?

Can you give us a heads up on what MS mods would need to take place for the miata using sequential fuel and spark? I know that'll be a lot of extra wiring on the car which I'm not looking forward to...

Car is finally awaking from it's slumber tomorrow, so maybe soon. But i really hate running wires and I'd have to hack up both my injector and cop harnesses.
