The MS3 Daughterboard can run up to 8 channel logic level sequential ignition without additional hardware. However, just like the previous ECUs, it has only 2 injector drivers on board. To run sequential injection, you would need one of the following:
-Custom injector drivers, or
-MS3X Daughterboard, or
-(2) DIYPNP Sequential Boards, or
-JB Perf Injector Driver Board
We will be rolling out the MS3 Daughterboard launch shortly. We are right now laying out the ground work for MS1 or MS2 to MS3 conversion kits, which should require a few small parts, the daughterboard itself, and a taller enclosure.
We still do not have the MS3X daughterboards ready yet. They will be going through another round of beta testing before launch, and while I don't have a hard schedule on that, we don't expect it to be too much longer.
If you have not seen the (jaw dropping) featureset of the MS3, you can view it here

Well that's some good news. I just got my MSII daughtercard last week so I think I'm gonna get that running first. I was planning on (eventually) using the jbperf 4-ch driver board with MSII at least for seq injection, but if I was running MS3 would there be any difference in functionality between the MS3x and jbperf boards? Maybe I'm confused but it seems they perform similar functions and are both compatible, so I'm wondering what the differences are.
I may not need the extra I/O of MS3 versus MSII, and I'm not sure how much I'll feel 1% versus 0.1% fuel resolution, but I could see internal datalogging pushing me over the edge. That would be mighty convenient at the track. Laptop is too big to have flopping around the car, and transferring a datalog off my palm pilot takes FOREVER. If I could just hook up and analyze by USB that would be ****.

Mostly I really want the onboard datalogging.
you can even load your MSII .msq into MSIII (needs a sanity check but still!)
Ben!
In for price of the whole enchilada when you guys are ready! I want to take the plunge! Let me know if you need a test car... lol, just kidding.
Will defiantly order one though.

Heh, mine may be some time yet, I'd like to fully utilize the MSII before I think about upgrading to MSII.
MSII is fricking amazing, but it'll take me soooooo long to get around to using 90% of it's features I'm happy to wait for a bit

Sorry, they're completely different.
The microsquirt module inside of a DIYPNP is essentially a complete MS2 ECU.

MS3s just went on the website.
If anyone orders one to upgrade a MS1 or MS2 ECU, remember it won't fit into your old case. You'll need to order a new (taller case) for it.

Yeah, just saw that as well.
As of this past weekend, I do have a potential application for one. Not fully decided which way I'm going to go with that just yet, and if I do, whether it'll use a 3.0 board or something custom. Any word on the MS3X in case I do decide to use the standard B&G board?
