Sorry, didnt get a chance to look at the map yet, but yeah if set to 13, then for stock injectors. Half the number (6.5) for 460cc injectors.

It's OK. I'm glad to have the help. Is it MAF delete?

Since you can't open the msq, I can post it longhand to help:

<constant name="reqFuel1" units="ms">13.0</constant>

yeah, this would just flood a motor running 460cc injectors.

cranking pulse widths are too high too. I'll send you an email tonight with a better basemap to try.

Thanks!

Can you send me one for 460's and one for stock 265's?

Steve,

I think you're missing the concept of reqfuel. The idea, is you tune your VE values and then if you change the injectors, all you do is change the reqfuel value and that scales the ENTIRE MAP based around that reqfuel.

It may need tweaking, but by and large, there is no "265cc map" and a "460cc map"

the map loaded is a perfect stock injector map. everything looks setup correctly for you unit.

let me change it for 460cc. (just halving any static pulse width numbers [req_fuel, cranking pulse, enrichments])

lol.

I appreciate all the help. I wonder why it wouldn't crank on the stock injectors I threw in it?

Is there a minimum cranking voltage at the ECU? It was registering 7-8v when cranking IIRC, even with the battery charger attached.

I eliminated this as a possible problem by running a second battery with large diameter jumper cables. Spins faster but doesn't even sputter except occasionally for the very first instant of cranking. I have a few more things to check today.

Ok so where is the problem now? You've verified the map you're running is good for the injectors you have?

You said it won't crank, you mean won't turn over, or won't catch and run? How old and possibly gunky is your fuel system? Verified your plugs arent fouled and your ignition is on point?

If you recall the mitty, the problem I was tearing my hair out over, it was old injectors that were totally gummed up. I installed my new ev14s and the thing fired up on the first try.

^my point being, in my experience, if your map, fuel, and ignition system are taken care of, MS is actually pretty simple to get going. You sure your stock injectors aren't frozen solid like mine were?

And thanks.
