Default HELP! MS2 Enhanced compatibility question

I am building a turbo 1999 1.8L NB motor and I found this MS2 Enhanced for $400 locally. Can it be made to control my 1999 NB setup? I'm not afraid of a little work.

You could probably make up a wiring adapter to go from the male NB2 connector to the female NB1 ECU connector. Plenty of places to get the wiring pinouts to help you. Obviously you won’t need the VVT wiring.

Honestly, at $400 you should just go with a later MS3 made for your model.

Other guys on here may have an easier way to do it.

Thanks. That is what I am wondering. I can get an MS3Pro for $800, so that $400 is probably worth spending...

I just noticed are you building an Exocet? If so, have you put a harness in the car yet? If not, just use the harness for the year ECU and don’t wire the VVT. Easy enough to figure out which wires for the NB1 engine goes to which in the NB2 loom.

Not a bad idea!
