help quick, shielded ign wire

Default help quick, shielded ign wire

for the shielded wire, when makeing the DB 37 connector, the inner wire goes n pin 24, but does the outter sheilding wire go in pin 2? or does it not go anywhere?

Dont even bother with the shielding non sense. You think the wire that runs inside the car is shielded? NO. Run a single wire and be done with it.

It's recommended to solder the shield to pin 2.
I didn't use a shielded wire on my tach input in my '99 though, it's fine.
