Default High VE Table

Just got my MSPNP1 installed into my basically stock 95. All it has is a cone filter and a muffler. My issue is that I can get the car to idle where I want with very little oscillation at about 15-15.5 AFR's. The issue is that the Idle cells of my VE table are set to 73. Seems much higher than everyone else's. I feel like this isn't right.

Another thing that I'm not sure is a problem is that the MAP sensor reads at 64 when the key is on but engine is off. I'm about 125' above sea level.

Have you selected the correct MAP sensor? Maybe it has the 400kPa sensor fitted?

It should be much closer to 100kPa than that.

I've tried some different settings but didn't want to mess with anything too much. Not sure if 400Kpa was one of them.

Well figured out I have the wrong sensor selected, doh. Now will that actually fix my VE values as well?

Nah, the computer knowing the proper density half of the speed density fueling equation isn't really a problem.

What kind of question is that? Of course it won't fix it.

You know what will fix it? Tuning the car.

Well I just didn't know if I should/could go forward with tuning the rest of the tables with a value like that.

Ok, point proven. Clearly wasn't thinking on that one.

Well I changed the selected map sensor and the idle ve came down a little bit lower, but the car runs well and I've got it tuned for cruising pretty well.

Good for you. Sounds like you can just go ahead now and ignore the basics like reqfuel, deadtimes or the r of the fm.

I've already taken care of them all already.
