From my under standing i can just tap a wire off my cooling fan to the pin that triggers the A/C fan so they will both come on when my preset coolant temp is reached. One problem, IDK which wire to tap into and what pin to send it to. I have a 90 1.6L with standalone braineack MS. Thanks and pictures speak 1000 words or however it goes.
the main fan comes on now right?
so in the bay, take the ground from the a/c and tap it into the ground from the cooling fan....the end.

you can do it off the harness, its easy.
just jumper the fan wire on the MS harness to the pin on the MS harness that controls the AC fan. I did it this way and works really well. That way if you go back to stock your fans are independent.
I have to look at which pin the AC fan is again. Its right around the regular fan pin though.
Ill pull mine out later and check it for you

jumping 1R is the cooling fan relay. 1Q is just the thermoswitch. But would still only trigger the cooling fan, not the a/c fan, which is triggered by the a/c relay. 1J might trigger it.

I read of that option but when Paul and I talked about we concluded that running two fans off a relay made for one could cause some problems down the line. If i could trigger the A/C Fan Relay by jumping the harness than well, I have two fans and a relay for each.

you got... I may just try and run the 1J a/c fan relay wire to ground and see if the fan turns on, if it does then I'll jumper the wires and test again. Just going to take that extra step in effort to not fry my MS for one reason or another.

Am i the new Miataz?
