So my car is running! Thanks to all that have helped with my MS issues so far.
I still have 2 issues though. I get incorrect IAT and CLT readings
Mazda CLT
GM IAT
easythermed... if i did it properly... for mazda clt in C, and gm iat in F. With numbers per the rx7 and gm defaults.
I'm getting - IAT numbers and what I feel is high CLT... (crusing around temp is 83c)
I have a 2.490 resistor in r4 (clt) and a 2.2 resistor in r7.
Help me... i have car out now! So i can work on it quickly instead of 1.5hr drive.

83c = 180f
which would be lowest coolant temp that i've seen in any FI miata.

No boosting yet, its just driving around. Once thermostat opens it just runs at same temp. No movement really unless i stop. So the CLT is close then... thats good to know.
Any thoughts on IAT? Its GM... with one wire to sensor input and other to ecu ground. It is setup with GM defaults, F, and 2200 in the ohm box. It reads - though...

I get -13c when crusing for my IAT reading. I think it was -1c at startup today.
Looks like CLT is accurate though, thats one down.
BTW... running fine on the DIY autotune stuff. I had to configure my map with their setup and also switch my two ignition wires on my harness. All good now though.

I haven't heard fans kick on yet... so that is sorta good. I know it works with my wiring at least when jumpered at the diagnostic port.
Yah... pulled i get the bad reading. I already used a 2.2 instead of a 2.49 because i broke it when i pulled it last time... and realized that in standalone... i want it there
So yeah... real thoughts? Its only thing keeping me from truely tuning it...

alright, i'll be online later, gotta drive home, but car will be at my home.. .so i can work on it now. Any thoughts would be great guys. be back on line soon.
Only if he wired it that way. My MS turns the cooling fan on at 175 (probably too low but adjustable in software).
Dave, verify voltage output from AIT with DMM. Then make sure the AIT wire is actually hooked to the MS.

duh, keep forgetting you are stand alone....heck why am i not standalone yet? i just got wire up the fans and idle valve.
make sure when you use easytherm the bias resistor settings reflect which resistor you are using.

I have my fans on the stock thermoswitch... no ecu needed.
I'll check my iat wiring and see if anything obvious shows up. It's got a 2.2ohm resistor in r7, which i put into easytherm. Hopefully I did it correctly.
