ignitor doesnt get hot this time, its about as warm as it would get on ms1. im gonna try the msq he sent me last night when i get back from running around today. i gotta go get some more gas and some other crap so i dont have to worry about anything for another few days...lol... ill post up what it does in a few hours

that fact that you're running and syncing and showing RPMs in TS makes me think it's not what I was saying about the input mod.

But with the dash tach dropping out, but the MS showing good rpms, means the input signal from the CAS is good, but the coils are misfiring.

i deffinatly think the coils missfiring, i hooked up the timing light and drove around for a while, it seems to flash all weird when its doing it. no matter how much i change the map it does it at the same spot, rich, lean or stoich.... im lost, its deffinatly gotta be spark related somewhere.... i even tryed to load in my ms1 ve spark and afr tables, it didnt make a single effect....lol.... possible firmware issue somehow, maybe the other new spark circuit? i dunno im just throwing stuff out there, it doesnt make sense, it didnt do this on his...lol...

also happened to just find this, im gonna check later or tomarrow to see if it has the right diode, and if those caps are right. maybe ill get lucky

I've seen this happen on many, if not all NAs I've tuned. Most couldn't go past 9-12psi on the stock ignition system - COPs always solved the issue. I've never had a single problem with NBs.

its been fine, i have it tuned to 18psi on ms1 and its never given me an issue. would it be just an ms2 problem ?

runs great now, i tried 4g63 mode and reset base timing....lol atleast it runs well now...just need more tuning.... but its a million times better... guess ill just run it like the 90-93 miata diypnp i put in someones car....
