Default injectors timing table VS adjust timing based on cam

Hi All,

I am having a little issue when the engine reach the min temp under the VVT settings.

When the VVT goes into action (goes above the min temp in the pic below) I am having a small "bump", looking at the logs I found that the "injector timing pri" variable goes from 360 (my injector timing table is 360 all over) to 84, so I guess the "bump" I am feeling relates to this.

Injector timing table.

Log

When i set the "adjust timing based on" off, there is no "bump" and the "Injector timing pri" remain at 360.

Appreciate it if someone could explain for which setup/application I should turn off the "adjust timing based on cam" and for which setup/application is should be turned on.

log and tune file are attached

Thanks!

Very interesting. I’m curious if this is a glitch ib system or intentional

turn it off if that's what it does. also: tune your injector timing table.

True, but I've found relatively little difference from having it tuned vs flatlined. at least on these primitive cars

I remember being able to pull a little more fuel in cruise cells when I advanced the injector timing a bit -- so I assumed it was a tiny bit more efficient.
