Got a couple of questions. My car right now is going to be N/A for a while i want to get used to MS, and saving up the money...I'm running 440cc injectors, i want to make a custom intake, because i bought the IAT sensor to remove the AFM, so the question i am asking, where would i get the most air flow because i am taking out the whole stock intake setup and fabbing up my own. So where should i position it, by the rad at the bottom? I have no clue.
And do i have to adjust timing or anything when tuning, I'm getting my buddy at Brock Ford, i co-oped there so hes tuning it for me, and i have to get an e-test anyways...thanks advice appreciated

put the filter right behind the headlight and box it out to separate it from the hot engine bay air. remove the black guard on the hood behind the driver side headlight. and drive around with your headlights up. you do have to set the timing per the MS instructions so the timing is actually what the MS thinks it is

Temps in that location were 17 deg. above ambient with a hood riser and a headlight lid scoop, btw.

+ 1. I ran the filter straight down from the throttle body, a few inches off the street and IAT's were 30-45 degrees higher than a cone filter with heat shield in the stock location. you'd think they'd be lower but I guess it was sucking in hot air off the rad.

just do something easy since its temporary...mine is zip tied to the manual headlight *****.
You'll be fine on the DIY base maps for spark, but you'll probably need to adjust fuel tables, AFR tables, set everything up for whatever sensors you're using, and run easytherm which can be a pain but I'll help if you hit me up on aim. The car is going to pull so much harder even on the standard DIY spark map with a proper fuel table.

I don't have an undertray, and sorry, but there are no pics. I went for one drive then scrapped it after seeing how horrendous the temps were. Just dont put your filter behind the rad.
