Just installed MS, getting resets/resetting
Yo! Just installed my MS today and got all the **** wired up. Verified connectivity and whatnot, was able to communicate with MS and write new firmware to it.
That said, whenever I turn the key to on and see what's going on in Megatune the dials jump all over the place and the reset counter keeps climbing. I checked my logs and my "batt V" frequently drops to zero from 11.9 (which seems to precipitate the reset). I figured it probably wasn't a good idea to try starting it at this point, so I didn't.
Any recommendations? First thing tomorrow is to clean the battery terminals and check ground in the trunk. Oddly enough the stock ECU seems to run fine despite this irregularity.

Need more info about your grounds. the MS is very sensitive to grounds.
That being said, you need to verify that these are "real" resets. Too tired from autoxing all day and a little drunk so you're going to have to do some searching =P

Hmm, info about my grounds..
Nothing different from stock, the MS is set to run parallel with the OEM ECU. Does that help?
Thanks
I'm in the process of getting drunk so we're on the same page here..

It's just using a harness that I assume you built. This was Urbansoot's MS that you built for him. Wiring is just the original ecu cables>parallel harness>MS/ECU.
Since the Sect isn't resetting this is probably a serial/usb issue yes?
