Knock during startup and warmup normal?
My megalog viewer shows knock in all cylinders around 3.6-4 during warmup. During startup, I get crazy amount of knock in the 30s, but this event only lasts for a second or two. Is this normal?
I'm not sure how sensitive the MS3 is but are all logs supposed to read 0 knock at all times?
Should I be really concerned? My timing is very conservative and I've tuned fixed tables.
Rev MS3, 2003 Miata all stock.
I've attached a startup and die log (Idledie) and my tune. I'm hoping I can get some input here.
I'll have the warmup log soon, my current one is a bit too big.
Not sure why I'd be knocking with my settings.

"Knock" readings on startup may actually be measuring piston slap until the pistons get up to operating temperature.
I'm still getting knock at ~3.6-4.0 during regular driving in ALL cylinders. They seem to move with each other. Is this normal? Should I be worried about knock at these levels?
Thanks.
Thanks.
